Roy G. Fegan
Founder & Director
Roy G. Fegan is a seasoned comedic actor, director, writer, and creative coach with a long-standing career in film, television, and live performance. Known for his sharp wit and dynamic presence, Roy has worked alongside some of the industry's top comedic talents while building a legacy rooted in mentorship and creative development. As an acting coach — including time teaching at USC — he has helped countless emerging artists hone their craft and navigate the entertainment industry. As the founder of Arts District Studios, Roy champions the power of “edutainment” — combining education with entertainment — to inspire and equip the next generation of talent. His mission is to help artists sharpen their skills, discover their unique voice, and turn passion into purpose — both on and off the stage.
Derrick T. Williams
Associate Producer / Product Manager
Derrick T. Williams is a seasoned entertainment professional whose journey spans stage, screen, and production. A graduate of KD Conservatory’s Motion Picture Production program (Class of 2011) and UCLA Extension’s Directing for Film and TV Certificate, Derrick’s career began on set as a photo double for Cuba Gooding Jr. in Boyz N The Hood, quickly leading to his first speaking role as Darren in One False Move. Touring nationwide with off-Broadway gospel plays, he was mentored by Roy G. Fegan, who taught him not just the business of entertainment, but how to thrive within it. Derrick went on to serve as a production coordinator for high-profile commercials, including campaigns for Call of Duty Mobile, Sony Xperia, Dollar Shave Club, and Bang Energy. His discipline and unique perspective are further enriched by his distinguished service in the U.S. Navy, Army, and Air Force—qualities that continue to shape his creative work and leadership in the industry.
Ruben Carrillo
Marketing Director
Ruben Carrillo is a bilingual marketing and branding strategist with a passion for connecting culture, creativity, and purpose. With nearly a decade of experience in digital media, grassroots campaigns, and community engagement, he helps shape the voice and visibility of Arts District Studios. His work supports the studio’s mission to educate and inspire emerging talent by making its message both powerful and accessible. Fluent in English and Spanish, Ruben also acts as a vital liaison to non-English-speaking creators, ensuring inclusivity across languages and backgrounds. His ability to fuse digital strategy with the arts makes him a key architect in building an ecosystem where education, entertainment, and impact thrive.
